Add your ThinkMatch link

Create a matching ThinkMatch event and add the link to your Meetup description, comments, reminder emails, social posts, or a QR code at check-in.

Promote an active open event

Once the companion event is active, open its Event Promotion workspace to create tracked posters and table cards, copy suggested social and email invitations, add a dedicated link to the Meetup page or event website, and see which channels lead to visits and joined participants.

• Before the event: Share separate links in Meetup updates, reminder emails, social posts, and partner websites.
• At the event: Place QR posters near registration or session rooms and table cards at networking tables or exhibitor booths.
• For conventions and conferences: Give each open ThinkMatch event its own materials and activity view while preserving the registration and schedule already in use.
• After sharing: Monitor participation, questionnaire completion, group activity, and channel results from the event workspace.

ThinkMatch works well for social meetups, networking events, workshops, classes, discussion groups, game nights, and regular communities where people benefit from meeting someone new each time.

Community publications using ThinkMatch can include selected public Meetup groups and events in their local-events page and website widget, subject to the publication's coverage and moderation choices.

Authorized publication staff can create Article Roundtables with a ThinkMatch button beneath an article. Meetup organizers may be useful venue or facilitation partners when the publication wants readers to continue the discussion in person.
