ThinkMatch gives local organizers, community builders, newspapers, newsletters, and web publishers practical ways to help people discover events and meet around shared interests and local coverage.
Any organizer can create a public or private ThinkMatch event, invite guests to answer event-specific questions, and help people find useful introductions, conversation starters, private chat, and optional video before meeting in person.
Paste an article, agenda, briefing, discussion topic, or other source into the event creator. ThinkMatch generates editable questions that help participants discover shared interests, opinions, and priorities. The organizer reviews and controls every question before using it.
Participating publications can combine selected public event sources, reader submissions, and ThinkMatch events on a publication-branded local-events page.
An authorized publication can place the same local listings on its own website with a small embed code. Publication staff choose the sources, geographic coverage, appearance, and submitted events that are shown.
Authorized publication staff can paste an article or submit its web address, generate an editable event draft and discussion questions, choose a scheduled local meeting place, and publish a shareable Article Roundtable. A ThinkMatch lightbulb button beneath the article invites readers to respond, match, and meet locally.
Publication owners can authorize editors and moderators. Staff can review sources, reader submissions, generated questions, event details, and published Roundtables from one publisher workspace.
Neighborhood groups, libraries, civic organizations, schools, places of worship, venues, clubs, and other local connectors can use the regular ThinkMatch event creator to make gatherings easier to enter and more rewarding to attend.
Community newspapers, newsletters, nonprofit newsrooms, and local websites can use event listings and Article Roundtables to help readers move from reading about their community to meeting within it.
Selected public Meetup groups and events can appear in a participating publication's local-events listings. Meetup organizers can also serve as useful venue or facilitation partners for local discussions.
Anyone can create a regular ThinkMatch event. The publication-branded local-events workspace, website widget controls, and Article Roundtable creator are available only to staff authorized by a ThinkMatch administrator or the publication owner.
