ThinkMatch Begins Selected City Discovery Rollout for Real-World Introductions

Selected city pages help people start with a location, find something worth attending, and use ThinkMatch to meet people there with more context.

Palo Alto, Calif. ยท July 30, 2026

Software995 Inc. announced that ThinkMatch has begun rolling out city discovery pages for selected cities, making it easier for people to find real-world events and places where they can meet others through ThinkMatch.

The selected city discovery pages bring together active ThinkMatch events, major live events from supported event providers, local places, campus calendars, and Meetup-style gatherings. Instead of starting only with a specific venue or invitation, a person can begin with a city and choose the type of gathering that fits the moment.

ThinkMatch is not a dating app or a generic event directory. The goal is to help people move from finding something to do into a more comfortable real-world introduction. Guests can answer prompts, get matched or grouped with people they may connect with, and communicate inside the platform before deciding what personal information to share.

The rollout builds on ThinkMatch's existing venue-linked pages for more than 500,000 locations, mostly across the United States, while giving selected cities a clearer discovery path for live events, local places, campuses, and Meetup-style events.

City discovery is available on the web and is part of ThinkMatch's broader cross-platform experience across web, iPhone, and Android. ThinkMatch remains free for hosts and guests.

Example city discovery pages include San Francisco and Palo Alto, where visitors can browse major events and then move into related places, campus options, and Meetup-style discovery without losing the selected city context.

"A city page should be more than a list of places," said Scott Rothstein, Architect at Software995 Inc. "ThinkMatch city discovery is meant to help someone find a real reason to go somewhere and a better reason to talk to someone once they arrive."

About ThinkMatch

ThinkMatch is an AI-powered platform built to change how people meet in real life. Guests answer event-specific questions, and ThinkMatch uses their responses to support more thoughtful introductions, compatible groups, conversation starters, private chat, and optional video before people meet in person. Hosts can create free public or private events for parties, meetings, campus activities, conventions, community gatherings, and other real-world occasions. ThinkMatch's goal is to make meeting new people feel easier, warmer, and more intentional by helping people find the right person, group, or table before they walk into the room.
