ThinkMatch Adds SearchWithin Menus Beta for Dish Recommendation Surveys

New SearchWithin beta uses AI-assisted menu conversion to turn restaurant menus into online recommendation polls.

Palo Alto, Calif. ยท May 12, 2026

Software995 Inc. announced SearchWithin Menus beta, a ThinkMatch-powered feature that uses AI-assisted menu conversion to help people collect dish recommendations from friends and trusted groups.

A survey creator can add a restaurant menu from a URL, PDF, or pasted text, convert menu content into structured dish options, choose the dishes to include, and share one recommendation survey link.

SearchWithin Menus is designed for practical group decisions around restaurants, takeout, shared meals, and first visits to unfamiliar places. Instead of forcing people to manually build a poll from scratch, it helps transform menus in different formats into an online poll that friends can answer.

"People often know which restaurant they want, but not what to order," said Scott Rothstein, Architect at Software995 Inc. "SearchWithin Menus turns trusted recommendations into a quick shared signal before the meal starts."
