Meet us every second Friday at Longview Point in Willow Springs Park and help steward the land by watering and tending to native plants, pulling invasive species, picking up litter, mulching, and maintaining trails. The eleven-member Climate Resilient and Sustainable City Commission advises the City Council on environmental issues such as buildings and neighborhoods, urban nature, transportation, water, energy, waste reduction, and eco products and services, and is responsible for creating a Sustainable City action plan. The public has the option to provide comments on agenda items prior to the meeting via email or e-comment. All public comments must be received by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

Join us for the 8th Annual Ranchos Walk to hike the crest trail that links Rancho Los Alamitos and Rancho Los Cerritos! Choose between the 9, 6, or 3-mile hike options and enjoy access to a guided audio tour that highlights facts about the area’s history. Participation in this event is FREE and includes entry to the post-walk celebration. More information about Ranchos Walk 2026 will be shared soon.
