Software995 Inc.は、ThinkMatchが韓国語とヘブライ語のインターフェースに対応し、地域の場所カタログを米国からイングランド、フランス、スペイン、日本、韓国、イスラエル、オーストラリアへ拡大したことを発表しました。
ThinkMatchは現在、英語、スペイン語、フランス語、日本語、韓国語、ヘブライ語の6つのインターフェース言語で利用できます。ヘブライ語では、インターフェース全体が右から左に表示されます。言語を選択しても、場所検索、イベント、アンケート、マッチング、ディスカッション、コミュニケーションという主要な体験は変わりません。
多言語対応は、メニューの設定を増やすだけではありません。新しい公開機能やコンテンツでは、表示テキスト、アクセシビリティラベル、入力確認メッセージ、ページのメタデータなど、体験を構成する各要素をすべての対応言語で用意する必要があります。ThinkMatchは、部分的に翻訳された外枠だけを提供するのではなく、どの言語でも実際に使える製品にするための仕事として取り組んでいます。
地域の場所カタログには現在、130万件を超える場所の情報が収録されています。米国のカタログは一般的な集まりの場所を幅広く対象とし、新しい海外向けカタログは現在、イングランド、フランス、スペイン、日本、韓国、イスラエル、オーストラリアの厳選されたカフェとバーを中心に掲載しています。
カタログの掲載情報は、見つけることのできる場所を表すものであり、イベントがすでに開催中であることや、誰かがそこで待っていることを意味しません。利用者が主催または参加を選んだときにThinkMatchがイベント体験を有効にするため、すべての場所に空のイベントを維持することなく、より大規模な地域カタログを提供できます。
拡張されたカタログは、ThinkMatch独自の場所検索システムの一部として保存・更新されます。これにより周辺の場所検索がより安定し、種類を含むOpenStreetMap識別子に対応するとともに、ThinkMatchの成長に合わせて国を追加・更新できる繰り返し可能な仕組みが整います。
